Two streets, two different rhythms
Treating Sciacca as a single ZTL is the mistake most maps make. Corso Vittorio Emanuele is the passeggiata, so it closes when people walk it — late Saturday afternoon into the small hours, and twice on Sunday. Via Giuseppe Licata is a nightlife street, so it closes late on Friday and Saturday only. A Sunday evening drive along the Corso is blocked; the same trip along via Licata is not.
Permits are issued by category, not bought
The Comune, through its municipal police, issues separate authorisations rather than one universal pass: non-occasional, occasional, disabled-badge and pharmacy access. Residents and people who work in the historic centre hold access of their own. There is no emission sticker to buy, because nothing here is decided by your engine.
