Can a diesel Euro 5 car enter Prague?

Freely, and the Euro class never comes into it. Czech law allows municipalities to declare low-emission zones under section 14 of the Air Protection Act, and the Ministry of the Environment’s register records that none has. With no declaration, there is no threshold, no enforcement and no penalty tied to a car’s emission standard.

Nor is there anything to display. Czechia has never introduced a physical emission sticker, so the windscreen stays empty on this count. If a zone were declared, compliance would be read electronically from the number plate through a ministry system that only starts up within twelve months of that first declaration.
