Can a Diesel Euro 3 (2018) Car Enter Munich? No (2026)

No. A diesel euro 3 car is below munich’s effective minimum (euro 5 diesel). Munich’s Dieselfahrverbot has banned diesel cars of Euro 4 and worse from the Umweltzone since 1 February 2023, inside and including the Mittlerer Ring, and a green Plakette does not exempt them.
