An Indian licence is accepted in Tuvalu, and an International Driving Permit is recommended to carry alongside it. Sort the IDP at home in India before you fly — you will not be able to obtain one once you arrive. Take the IDP, your Indian licence and your passport as a set. In practice, formal licence checks are rare on an island this small, but having the documents in order keeps any rental or police interaction simple.
