TyreMap.com is free to use. This page names, precisely, where the money comes from — and where it does not.

We name partners rather than categories, so you can check the claim rather than take our word for it.

  • DiscoverCars.com — car rental comparison. We earn a commission if you book a car after following one of our links. Partner since June 2026. These links are marked rel="sponsored" in the page HTML.

That is the complete list. If a company is not named above, we are not being paid by it. In particular, we earn nothing from International Driving Permits, travel insurance, motorway vignettes, emission stickers or automotive products, and nothing from any government portal we link to.

Where We Deliberately Earn Nothing

When you need a Crit’Air sticker, a German Umweltplakette, a motorway vignette or an emission-zone day pass, we link the official government portal and we take no commission on it. That is deliberate. On those transactions the official price is almost always the lowest available, and resellers charge a service fee on top of a form you can complete yourself in a few minutes. We would rather send you to the cheaper option than take a cut of the more expensive one.

  1. Every paid link carries rel="sponsored" in the page HTML, so it is machine-checkable, not just a promise in prose.
  2. The partner is named on this page. If you cannot read a company’s name above, no money changes hands.
  3. The official source stays first. Where a government portal exists, it gets the primary link. A commercial option can appear alongside it, clearly labelled, never in place of it.

What Commercial Relationships Never Touch

Our data. Emission-zone records, speed limits, tyre laws and country rules come from official government publications, EU regulations and national transport authorities. The sourcing and verification process is documented in full on our methodology page.

No partner has been offered, and none will be offered, any influence over whether a zone is listed as active, what fine we publish, or whether we tell you a car is banned from a city. Where hiring a compliant car is one of the options we list, it is because it genuinely solves the reader’s problem — it sits alongside the day-pass and park-and-ride options, which earn us nothing.

If a recommendation is not worth making on its own merits, we do not make it for money.
